I bought them new toys. It ‘s called kong cozie. There were 10 different animals to choose from. I got them Rosie the Rhino and Ali the Alligator. They’re super soft and durable so far, I washed and dried them many times. Aramis loves to chew , so far no holes in the toys.
It came with a small squeaker inside. What dog doesn’t like a squeaker. Unfortunately it lasted 3 days . Athough the toys don’t squeak, D’Artagnan and Aramis still like them.
In a previous post I wrote about Aramis’ under skin lumps, small cyst that were there but which didn’t cause any problems.
I was petting him and I discovered some hairs sticking together with some bloody wound under it.
I thought he got wounded from the longboard riding straight at us but it wasn’t. We went to the vet to check this wound.
She trimmed all the hair and cleaned it up. She told me it was the cyst that broke. Aramis may have scratched it and it opened. It was full of dirty fluids.
She gave me an antibiotic : Cefpodoxime 100 mg. I have to give him 1/2 tablet for 10 days, once every 24h with food .

She also told me he has 2 other ones which I knew about, they are smaller in size but if he scratches them, same thing will happen.She mentionned that I could have them removed if I wanted to.
I took couple months and now it is completely healed.
I was shopping at costco when I saw this dragons plushies. It was a pack of 3, all different colors. Costco had only this set to choose from, but the brand offers many other colors for these dragons
The fabric is different from other toys I bought in the past. All the dots on dragons are actually fused to the underlying chew guard.
It comes a waranty of 30 days from the day of the purchase. If your dog destroys it, they offer one time replacement however; you will still have to pay for shipping. So far these dragons are holding pretty well, Aramis love to chew toys, especially the ones that comes with a squeaker like these dragons. I also washed and tumble dried them 3 times without any issues.
