Nail trimmer

I use to cut their nails with a regular nail clipper until one day I cut too short. I cut the quick and it bled. To stop the bleeding I use a cloth to press on it, then mix flour or corn starch with water and dip the bleeding nail in it. This serves as a band. I was so afraid to cut the quick again, my dogs would feel it when I was trying to cut their nails and it became impossible.

I purchased the Dremel 7300. This is so much better! I showed it to my dogs, made them sniff it and get used to it. It took a little time but with treats and patience it paid off!
It has 2 speeds which is great, the trimming is smooth. The only down part for me is because of their long coat sometimes if they happen to move hair get trapped in. The machine stops so I gently remove the hair from it.

Wagon and crate

After searching everywhere for a dog show wagon I finally found the perfect one: Doug’s Wagon Walkers. He sells those wagons at most AKC dog shows in SoCal, but you can also buy from his website.
I bought a big one with a crate as it is easier for me with my 2 pekes, I just put them in the crate and that’s it. I use to carry their travel crates but it was too much. Everything folds down like so:

It fits in the trunk of my car and it opens easily. Most people at AKC dog shows have one, however they don’t have a crate like mine; they directly put their travel crates on it and stack them. I like this crate better as it lets my dogs move around in it, and I can always keep an eye on them.

Dry shampoo

I really like this dry shampoo. It smells great and removes the stains quickly without soaking the coat. I use it often during dog shows, as they are often held on wet grass.. One press is usually enough, then I rub it on the stain , brush it away and wipe the leftovers. When the coat is very dirty I redo until it’s clean.
